Glasgow Public School offers K-12 education under the direction of an elected board and funded by the local property tax. Over 75% of graduates choose to continue their education after completing high school and many receive substantial scholarship and grant aid.
 
St. Mary's Catholic School was established in 1869 and provides K-8th education, as well as a preschool. Approximately 130 children are enrolled in a program which stresses a dual focus of prayer and learning, as well as providing service opportunites to the community.
